Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Last week myself, my family and a few friends travelled down to London to spend a couple of days in the city over New Years. We had a couple of hours spare on our day of arrival so decided to take a trip to Hyde Park's 'Winter Wonderland'. I've heard so many people hype this place up so I was excited to see what it was like for myself. I know, I know it is decked from wall to wall with Santas, festive trinkets and fairy lights, making it as Christmassy as possible. Going on the 30th December feels slightly against the 'rules'. Surely we should all have had enough by now. But no, who doesn't want that last hit of festivity before the end of 2013? Apparently a bloody lot of people, including Frank Lampard, Christine Bleakley and his children who we saw walking about, playing curling and going on a few of the rides. My favourite part of the night was going on the 'Sky Rider' which, from the top there were views of London lit up for miles. I didn't take my camera up there as I would probably drop it, but the views were incredible.  Here are a few of the photos I took on the night with my new camera, I'm loving using that thing!
