Lilac Maxi Dress

I thought I'd share with you what I wore last week when I attended my friends birthday meal and I also went to a screening of The Wolverine that same night. It was one of the hottest days we've had last Friday and I was definitely wary about wearing such a long dress that isn't particularly flowy. But I love this so much I had to go for it, it's so simple but is one of the favourite things I own. I bought it last year from Primark whilst getting last minute holiday bits and although it was in the beach wear department I think how I've worn it with a belt and a red lip, it could be used for a night out.

Recently I've been listening to: Bipolar Sunshine - Rivers
I first heard this last week as it was ITunes' Free Song Of The Week and if you haven't heard of this fella before, he was formerly part of the Mancunian band Kid British and this is now his side project. It is a really great summery dance/indie track and a great listen!
