July Playlist

I've compiled together a few of the tracks that i've been listening to over the course of July. This month's songs are very pop, but who isn't a sucker for a bit of easy listening over the summer months? You don't want any controversy, just stick it on, lay in the garden and chill. Songs from Klingande and Mausi are perfect for this. As I went to X&Y Festival at the end of June I've also been loving listening to Little Comets, even if I am about 3 years late on the hype.

I say we don't want any controversy, but Alt-J's 'Hunger Of The Pine' has to be discussed, they've sampled Miley Cyrus' '4x4' from her recent album and it's a shocker to say the least. I personally love it, it adds something a little different to their standard sound which can become tedious after a while. Last of all, the little wonder that is Troye Sivan. I love Troye anyway because of his hilarious YouTube videos and cute little face but the melancholy lyrics and downtempo electronic sound of this song was definitely not what I was expecting. If you're sat on your high horse thinking you can't like it just because he's a 'Youtuber', get off it because you're missing out. I can't recommend it enough.
